WHY "MS.MONEY"?

"Ms." pays homage to the groundbreaking feminist magazine launched in 1972. The title "Ms." itself was championed by Gloria Steinem and Sheila Michaels as a way for women to be "recognized as individuals, rather than being identified by their relationship with a man," like the previously used “Mrs.” and “Miss.”

And why “Money?” I believe that financial literacy is essential to defining yourself on your own terms. Together, "Ms.Money" celebrates the feminist tradition of self-definition—from honorifics to bank accounts—reminding us that economic independence and personal identity go hand in hand. Just as that revolutionary “Ms.” freed women from being defined by marital status, I believe financial knowledge provides similar liberation.
